LD Banko reminds us why we love him and his music. He’s a storyteller at his finest and “8 Miles” is evidence. He presents a eery atmosphere of J.Cole and Isiah Rashad in their element and the way LD is rhyming we can’t see why he can’t get to that point. From the mellow and chilled instrumental to his smooth smooth SMOOTH flow, “8 Miles” is easily a fan favourite. Realness, energy and story telling makes LD Banko an elite talent in the Toronto rap scene. He seperates himself through versality and meaning filled lyrics which isn’t necessary shown consistently with other artists around the city. We are definitely gunna roll a fat spiff and spark up to “8 Miles” this summer and you should too! Shout out the homie LD Banko! Listen above!
The heartbreaking songtress Aiona has been busy lately. Releasing new content in forms of “Too Late” and “You & I” the music video. Both are high in quality, we connected with them instantly. Consistency seems to run through this girl’s veins because time and time again she sets out to amaze.
“Too Late” is an another Martin Sole produced track but with a twist. It has a higher tempo and presents a trap/hip hop influences. Aiona spits some mad lyrical bars that are smoothed and mixed perfectly with her silk-like voice. It seems that Aiona is preaching a lot of women independence and strength. We feel that this is extremely unique because it is rare to see female artists openly express non-reliance on a male counterpart in their work. With each release, we see the progression of Aiona’s lyrical ability and vocal performance. This song will be on repeat for a very long time.
YOU & I (MUSIC VIDEO)
This music video is amazing. Very simplistic but an underlying story where a lot of people can connect to. It is directed by ShotByDrew and Civil Savage. We applaud Aiona and her visual team for incorporating her label-mates and Toronto scenery throughout her work. “You & I” has been our personal favourite from her and this music video solidifies why. Excellent work, excellence.
Right after Toxic released his new song “Somewhere in my Mind”, he immediately keeps the creative waves flowing with a follow-up music video.
Khaliowe is definitely on the right path. He is consistently releasing dope shit and making great progressive moves to advance his sound and his presence in the industry. “Life of Lies” was Khaliowe’s most successful song (to-date) and now he released his debut music video for it early December. The video sets the perfect mood and visual story to this amazing song!
Big up Khaliowe for creating a dope ass music video! Can’t wait to see what else he has in store.

Toronto Artist $heed (DollaSign Sheed) released his new video on October 27, 2016.
The video is about $heed’s come up in his music career and includes his past relationships with girls throughout his life. The video focuses on $heed’s hard times and how he has overcome these situations.
“Focused” is a single off the Project Ward 11. In this video you can see the acting side of $heed as he evolves his videos from him and his boys mainly dancing and having fun in front of the camera to a structured story line based video that has you thinking you’re watching a movie.
Outlier Entertainment’s Starter Pack releases his first music video for unreleased song, “All I Know”. Right off the bat, the Brampton rapper lets us know that something special was about to happen and he wasn’t lying. This video is a great introduction for him. Starter Pack includes snippets from a various array of moments that all come to together to represent what’s going on in his life currently. From doing with shows with the Outlier Crew to doing drugs and living the night life, it’s all there. The visuals for this is definitely a step in the right direction to showcase himself as an artist.
As for the audio song, we very much enjoyed it. “All I Know” is yet to be released for strictly listening but we kinda find it interesting to have visuals before the single is released because a lot of artists do the complete opposite. But either way, the song is dope as fuck. A great based song to bump in the whip. We won’t go in depth until the audio is released! We’ll be waiting Starter!
